Carios & DKXO (Japnanese officeworker coraborated with FRIENDZONE)

1. Local Distance

Carios and his friend DKXO live in small town in Toyama, snowy side of Japan. and they Collaborated with rising producer team FRIENDZONE, and make some songs together. but, they are not rapper. Ordinally company employees, even now.




They met a Misterious Japanese Producer Konyaga Tanaka in twitter ( nobody knows his true identity ). One day, Konyaga Tanaka sent them a beat suddenly. They were very amazed, because they had no experience of rap in the past. but they tried for it.

On this song, Konyaga Tanaka Sampled Utada Hikaru' s "Final Distance" . 
and Carios & DKXO rapping about sense of distance between Tokyo and local town. 

The song was named "Local Distance".


"Local Distance" generated so many reaction. it became 12 inch analog( adding Tokyo based rapper PUNPEE' s verse ). and dancinthruthenights and some other artists remixed it, from various local area of japan. ( dancinthruthenights are the producer team of Kobe' s tofubeats & Shiga's Okadada, )

response to "local Distance" was not only from Japan. LA based Producer team FRIENDZONE extolled "Local Distance". In the wake of it, amazing collaboration was realized.

 FRIENDZONE sampled Okada Yukiko in this ( Okada Yukiko inspired the name for FRIENDZONE' s  compilation series "Kuchibiru Network" ).

"Kuchibiru Network 2" contained  "Local Distance". and Konyaga Tanaka produced  Main Atrakkionz' s "Not Luv" on "Kuchibiru Network 3".

Next, Carios & DKXO Collaborated with Konyaga Tanaka again.

The song named "Winternet Archive" is sampled Get Up Kids' s "I'll Catch You"it was links with the their origin. in younger days, Carios & DKXO joined to the hardcore punk bands. in other hand, Toyama is also origin of them. they rapping about Toyama's Cold Winter in this song. this is a sketch of the snowy landscape. 



and from there, Carios & DKXO have some solo works, and some collaborations with other artist.


DKXO had recording session with FRIENDZONE & Main attrakionz in LA. and he made artwork for "Kuchibiru Network3"( Compilation album made by FRIENDZONE & their friends )

Year End-Tax Adjustment


Japanese JUKE scene is attract attention from the world. Many japanese juke producers collaborated with Japanese rappers, for the "160or80" compilation. Carios & DKXO made a song named "year-end tax adjustment" with PICNICWOMEN, ( producer who make the best melodic juke track ).

This is a rough discography for Carios & DKXO for now ( and there is some other solo tunes and collaborations ). And they are  the average office worker in the provincial town still. ( in recent, Carios moved to Tokyo )
